Integration of Traditional Architecture and Modern Design

Bershka's flagship store on Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona, spans 1,700 m² over three floors, showcasing the Bershka, MAN, and BSK collections. The design merges the Eixample building's historic elements with contemporary, minimalist display modules. These modules vary in material depending on the section, allowing the traditional brick vaults, cast iron beams, and metal columns to remain the focal point of the space.

Spatial Connections and Natural Light Flow

The store's design connects its floors through large openings, patios, and skylights, enhancing the flow of natural light throughout the space. A striking stone wall organizes the product displays and creates a visual journey that leads to a light-filled patio. Here, a kinetic screen by artist Ezra Miller adds an artistic, dynamic element to the design.

Functional Layout and Tailored Lighting

The main floor features Bershka and BSK collections, while the upper level showcases MAN. The lower floor houses the service areas, including sculptural checkout islands, fitting rooms, and accessories. Custom LED lighting, arranged in a grid, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. A chrome inflatable sphere at the entrance adds a playful, attention-grabbing feature to the store.
